Smart Solutions K-12 is the Education Division of Smart Solutions, Inc. Smart Solutions is a 25-year-old company with over 75 employees and offices in Cleveland, Canton, Columbus, and Detroit.
In 2006, VAR magazine named Smart Solutions one of ‘500 Largest Solutions Providers in North America’. Smart Solutions also made the VAR magazine list of ‘50 Fastest Growing Solutions Providers in North America’ in 2004. Additionally, Anand “Bill” Julka, the president of Smart Solutions, received the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2005 and was awarded the George B. Davis Distinguished Alumni Award for Service to the University by Cleveland State University in 2008.

Nitin Julka Biography
Nitin Julka is Vice President of Smart Solutions, Inc., an IT solutions provider serving customers in education, government, law and healthcare. Nitin led efforts to restructure the company and move towards a business unit strategy. He has been involved with mergers and acquisitions in the education space including the acquisition of an education managed services provider, and a spin-off of an educational software company.
As leader of Smart Solutions education practice, Nitin oversees the IT management for over 30 schools and school districts. Smart Solutions is the technology partner for numerous schools and school districts and has completed over $50 million in E-rate services since the program’s inception.
Nitin received his MBA from Columbia Business School with a focus on entrepreneurship and received his BS from University of Wisconsin-Madison with degrees in Computer Science and Psychology.
