I know that such a statement does not always come true, but I have seen it happen time and time again with students in my classroom. The hardest part is sticking with the writing long enough for it to make a difference.

I am having students write blog posts in class and I am hoping that doing that will help them see the value of writing outside of typical classroom assignments.</description>
